This year we will offer classes that will include the use of Presbyterian curriculum, videos, and Bible studies.

  • The third class we will offer is "301 Discover Your Gifts To Serve God's Kingdom" (Held in Deacon's Room) Have you ever wondered what gifts you have? Have you ever felt called to do something for God but wasn't sure you could? This class will help you explore your gifts and assist you in claiming that gift for God's kingdom. The class meets January 17, 31, and February 14.

  • The fourth class we will offer is "401 Share Christ With Others" (Held in Deacon's Room) Have you ever wondered how you could share your faith with others? In this class we will show you how to share your personal faith with others. You will also discover how participating in mission can help you make a difference in the world as you share God's love. The class meets March 7, 21, 28, and April 11.

Other Discipleship Opportunities:

Kerygma Program for Discipleship - Kerygma is a Greek word. Originally it meant proclamation. The class walks students through the reading and exploration of the entire Bible. It helps its learners discern God's word for the contemporary community of faith. Classes are limited to ten students. Attendance is required. Kerygma Classes take place Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 p.m in the Deacon's Room.

Classes for 2009-2010 are:

  • God Is Faithful - At the heart of the Bible's story is a relationship between God and people, sparked by God's initiative, sustained by God's promise, and sealed in covenant terms. God calls us to renew our place among God's loyal people. The class is schedule during January and February 2010. Cost is $16.00.
  •  Knowing God - The Scriptures are full of questions God's people had about the Creator. Can we trust God to be loving, fair, and just?   How can we know the unknowable God? W explore these and other questions which hape our faithful inquiry even today. The class is schedule during March and April 2010. Cost is $16.00.
  • God Calls leaders - Inspired leaders made a difference in the unfolding Biblical drama. Inspire new leaders today with an exploration of how God worked through the lives of Patriarchs and Prophets, fishermen turned disciples, and a carpenter who was a Savior. The class is schedule during May and June 2010. Cost is $16.00.
